What is Infamous Bytes?
An iPhone app for home cooks and professional cooks: chef-verified recipes, The Pass feed with Nods, 15-second Bytes clips, a servings calculator, an Event Sheet for banquets, a shopping list, and Heart of the House badges.
When can I download it?
The app is in development and coming to the App Store on iPhone. This page will be updated when it is available.
How much does it cost?
$4.99 per month after a 7-day free trial. Browsing recipes and The Pass is free; the subscription unlocks Bytes and the kitchen tools.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Infamous Bytes, and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.
Does the calculator upload my screenshots?
No. The calculator reads recipe screenshots on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device text recognition. Always double-check the amounts it reads.
How do I report or block someone?
Tap the “…” menu on any post, Byte, comment, or profile and choose Report or Block. You can also email us.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and content from inside the app, or email us and we’ll take care of it. See the Privacy Policy.
What is the Dish Pit Badge?
A Heart of the House badge you earn by making a special plate for your dishwasher and posting it with a shout-out. It sits above every skill badge on a profile.
