In development — coming to the App Store on iPhone
Infamous Bytes
Are you ready to become infamous?
Infamous Bytes is an iPhone app that puts home cooks and professional cooks at the same table. Recipes you can trust, verified by chefs. A feed built on respect, not popularity. And the tools a real kitchen runs on, made simple enough for a weeknight at home.
Infamous Bytes is a d/b/a of UpFire Hot Sauce LLC, a California limited liability company based in Ventura County, California.

What it is
A kitchen in your pocket, built by a cook
Infamous Bytes is an iPhone app for home cooks and working pros, from line cooks to executive chefs. Find a recipe you can trust, scale it for 2 at home or a full banquet, shop for it, cook it, and share what you made with people who care about food.
Bytes Signature feature
15-second vertical clips. Hold to record; each clip stops at 15 seconds. Keep recording and the takes stack into one Byte, so you can show the move that matters. Pin a recipe to any Byte so viewers can cook it.
Chef-verified recipes
House recipes are tested and verified by a working chef, so you know they cook the way they read. Look for the Chef Verified mark.
The Pass
The feed. Post a plate, give a Nod. There are no likes. Names, not numbers: Nod counts stay hidden unless the cook turns them on. Following and Discover tabs.
Servings calculator
Paste a recipe or snap a screenshot. Apple’s on-device text recognition reads it right on your iPhone. Scale from 1 to 250+ servings, kitchen-style: real measures like cups, quarts, and pounds, down to ⅛ tsp. Temps, times, pans, and portion tools never scale.
Event Sheet
Banquet math, guest by guest. Build a menu line by line (protein, starch, salad, sides), each with its own guest count and overage, and get “What you’ll need” plus a prep sheet.
Shopping list
Recipe and calculator amounts land on one list, grouped by aisle, and checked off as you shop.
Heart of the House badges
Badges for the work that keeps a kitchen human. The Dish Pit Badge — a special plate you make for your dishwasher, posted with a shout-out — sits above every skill badge on a cook’s profile. The career ladder runs from Dishwasher to Executive Chef, and everyone starts in the dish pit.
Real screens from the build
